Hi Dave,

Old girl new at this so - I have as many have, searched for Edith. What I was told by a Lange relative who went all around Australia talking to family and writing it all up - sorry - she is now dcd. Edith or Maud may have, possibly was born in Wales UK? Hope you don't mind - putting in what I was told by this lady a number of years ago. May help in some way?
Adolph Carl Heinrich married Maud Thomas (she was Welsh?). He was called Jack. Was going out with Phoebe Harding. When George Gustav came home from visiting/working in Melbourne as egg merchant, he was seen as a 'city slicker' and Phoebe fell for him and they married.
Adolph was angry so he took his horse team to Riverina NSW near Coolam - story from his descendants. He had travelled with one of the Oehm family. Conrad's 2nd daughter went to Victoria. Adolph is at Junee cemetery.
Eldest son Bert - Herman Norman - stayed with Uncle Norm - Les Harker - drinkers. Wife drank too. Adolph Had a cattle place near Gundagai."
Wife mentioned there, was Edith/Maud. Does the marriage cert for Lange/THomas have any info eg father's name?
Good luck Feebs
