Can someone help me with this one please.

We only have limited info on him. We have a photo taken of him in uniform in WW1 but other than that we have no info on his militery career. No service number and no regiment etc.
His wife i would assume would be noted as next of kin .. Edith Emma Page.
I have found his marriage dated 1902 and marriage place was St Lawrence Kent England. His daughter, Hilda Florence born 1909 again address is St Lawrence Kent so they seemed to hang around that area if that is any help at all. I dont have access to the militery records so would be thankful for any help please. Thank you.

You probably looked on CWGC - two E J PAGE but that's no help.

I can't see a tree. I'm stuck for the moment.

I keep reminding you, you will lose your memb in "that"census if you keep helping people..
They are mustard at searching the web.
Just put 'between 1910 & 1912' and they can't pick it up.
I know your hearts in the right place darls.

Hi Dave,
Yep already checked that out, thanks. He supposedly survived the war. Do you think if i put the photo on here that it might help identify his rank etc from the uniform:confused:

Hello gibbo,

As a programmer I hate it when I see things such as this:

Searched for "Edmund James Page" and got:

Hi Gibbo
That arm badge looks familiar, but I wouldn't like to guess.

There is one record of an Edmund J Page, not much info, but if someone identifies your picture, it may be him.

Sapper 541575 20th T.F Dep. RE. joined 24/6/1915, discharged due to ill health 21/1/1919. That is all the info given.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for having a look. Something might pop up to confirm if its him or not. Hard when i didnt have a lot to go on to start with. Wonder if it would be worth emailing the militery muesums with the picture:confused:
Thanks again.

Hello gibbo,

If I may take a guess - A Bandsman metal arm badge. :)

The metal cap badge is different. I have no guess for it yet.

Regards,

Dave
