Oh. Rothwell is in Hunslet only 1845-1862.

Ann Wriglesworth bap 2 Feb 1762 Rothwell, Yorkshire
father: William Wriglesworth

Rothwell PR has this:
1791 April 6. Edmund Thompson and Ann Wrigglesworth of this parish
Witnesses: Wm Wrigglesworth, William Wrigglesworth

Ann died before 1841. Lots of them.

Rothwell is not listed as a parish or sub-district under RD Leeds in genuki.

Listed under Wakefield 1925-1938.

1863-1868 it was not even Hunslet 1845-1862 and 1869-1925.

Thanks Geoff.

Yes, I asked if Leeds was correct becuse I noticed it was the RD in 1841 census and thought that a bit odd.

I can't see Rothwell listed 1837-1844 so it must be missing from genuki.

This is my Barraclough line so we are back to William Thompson and William Wrigglesworth. Fathers of Edmund and Ann.

The only one with mother listed:

Luke Thompson
birth: 6 Nov 1779
christening: 12 Dec 1779 Rothwell, Yorkshire
William Thompson & Martha

Might be lucky with this one too although it's well after Ann's baptism.

Joseph Wriglesworth
christening: 10 Sep 1780 Rothwell, Yorkshire
father: William Wriglesworth
mother: Elizabeth

Trying to prove if it is William & Martha and William & Elizabeth.

We don't know if there is one Thompson family with head William and one Wrigglesworth family with head William to say Luke is a sibling of Edmund and Joseph is a sibling of Ann. So we can't say the mothers are Martha and Elizabeth.

I can't find the marriages.
