Thanks Ellie.

Didn't have Sarah's maiden name.

Can't see the family in Scotland in 1851.

Re my last post the Georgina born Abbey Burgh would appear, from what I have found, to be the daughter of a Jessie Paterson. I can't find anything, other than the Scotlandspeople entry, for the Georgina born Paisley and she is probably the one you want.

Thanks Emeltee.

Yes, did see mother listed as Jessie.

Ages fit and change of name in later census so looks like adoptions to me.

Thanks Ellie.

Didn't have those two deaths.

I'll have to search the census a bit more for Sarah and Edward sen.

Yes, 1855 was a special year. Ok, there go 6 credits.

5 Oct 1855 - 32 Wellmeadow St Paisley

Mason labourer 41 years Ballyshand ? Co Donegal
1834 Ballyshand
4 & 2 living
3 & 1 deceased
Maiden name O'Donnell her 11th child 38 years Ballyshand Co Donegal
Edward his mark
then appears to be two names and occupations ?? hard to read

First one not so clear but second is clearly written as Ballyshand = Ballyshannon ?
