Thanks Ellie.

Looks good but may not be the right family. Mother is Ann Morgan ?

That family here in 1881 with son as Henry not Edward.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q275-XP3S

Birthplace Bassabley, Monmouthshire, England = Bassaleg
Marital Status Married
Occupation Baptist Preacher (Mini)

Birthplace Mawtilad, Monmouthshire, England = Mamhilad is in RD Pontypool.
Marital Status Single
Occupation Curriers Apprentice

1914 VIC Electoral Roll - Yarra - Abbotsford
MORGAN Edward Henry, 18 Bond st., Abbotsford, tanner
MORGAN Isabella Clara, 18 Bond st., Abbotsford, home duties

Seems to fit ok now.

MORGAN, ROSE ELLEN BAPTISTA - HULSE
GRO Reference: 1868 M Quarter in SKIPTON Volume 09A Page 31

MORGAN, FREDERICK WILLIAM - HULSE
GRO Reference: 1869 D Quarter in SKIPTON Volume 09A Page 29

Are Rose and Frederick missing from the 1871 census? Are they on the next page ?

If they are part of the same family then we have 2x mmn Morgan and Hulse. A change between 1861 and 1868.

There are several deaths 1861 - 1868 for an Ann Morgan.

This looks to fit.

Deaths Mar Qtr 1910
MORGAN Edward 74 Burnley 8e 201

The Wills and Probate site returns 159 pages starting with 'A' when I enter Morgan, 1910 and no for Soldier.

?
Deaths Sep Qtr 1908
MORGAN Eliza 74 Burnley 8e 172

Back to this one.

Other records say mother was Ann Morgan.

Births Dec Qtr 1861 MORGAN Edward Henry - Pontypool 11a 127 mmn MORGAN

It's before the marriage so either it should have no mmn or that's the second marriage for Edward and mmn is correct.

There is a gap of six years and a change of county.

Marriages Mar Qtr 1866 Walsall 6b 711
MORGAN Edward & HULSE Eliza

MORGAN, ROSE ELLEN BAPTISTA - HULSE
GRO Reference: 1868 M Quarter in SKIPTON Volume 09A Page 31
