edwin stanley williams family

Hi everybody.
I'm trying to find as much history about my father in laws family as possible.
My father in law Edwin Stanley Williams was the eldest of three brothers.
He was born in 1906 in liverpool,he and his younger brothers,Leslie andHarold,lived with their father and mother Edwin and Annie Williams at 37 Breeze Hill Liverpool.
Here is the catch, their father died in 1910 aged 36yrs,Harold was born in1915and christened Harold Williams,until only a couple of days ago it was thought they all had the same father it was something never talked about.
Annie Williams(nee Bennett)put Edwin Stanley into an orphanage, in Woolton we think,but we can't find any records.
If anyone can help with this period of their family history and further back it would be much appreciated.

Hi, have you any information re the adoption ie when he was adopted and where he was given up for adoption {the area}. Did his biological mother not have any info as to when he was given up. sue

Not getting very far with this one. Harolds birth cert may help, but there isn't a Harold born to a mother maiden name Bennett, only Williams, which may explain why he was called Williams if Annie gave her married name.
Edwin and Annie's marriage cert in Sept qtr 1904 at West Derby ref 8b 891 may help find their parents

Hi you could look in the census between1910 and 1912.
It's a pay per view site.
Edward Stanley is there in West Derby in a household aged 4yrs.
There's an Annie aged 35yrs.
Leslie Arthur aged 2yrs.
