Oh this is a different sort of notice. Their silver wedding notice [25 years marriage] I know its not what your looking for but it gives a date of marriage etc.

The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954)
Thursday 26 December 1929

SILVER WEDDINGS
TOMLIN—COLLETT.—December 26, 1904, at West London Tabernacle Notting Hill London Edwin Tomlin to Mary Ann Collett Present address St Annes Tramway street Mascot

With the marriage in 1904 we must have 2 families or 2 generations.

Edwin Ernest does not belong in that tree. If re rule out the death in Redfern in 1925 then where is the death of Edwin senior? Did he in fact come to Australia? Or did Mary Ann come with the children? Or is it this one:

10149/1930 TOMLIN EDWIN A - FREDERICK J - RUBY A - NEWTOWN

It's not that death either because of this marriage:

14774/1923 TOMLIN FREDERICK J - ARMS RUBY A - BALMAIN SOUTH

If the marriage was in 1904 I can't see they had that many children before the marriage. There should be 2x Edwin. Father and son.

Well, I have been awake for 16 hours. :2fun:

Deniliquin seems so far away and rather odd. I tried to find a marriage /death for Annie to prove it is Charles & Mary. Not this one:

TOMLIN Annie Elma Death notice 04JUN1991 Death 86 Sydney Morning Herald 06JUN1991
