With the marriage in 1904 we must have 2 families or 2 generations.

Edwin Ernest does not belong in that tree. If re rule out the death in Redfern in 1925 then where is the death of Edwin senior? Did he in fact come to Australia? Or did Mary Ann come with the children? Or is it this one:

10149/1930 TOMLIN EDWIN A - FREDERICK J - RUBY A - NEWTOWN

It's not that death either because of this marriage:

14774/1923 TOMLIN FREDERICK J - ARMS RUBY A - BALMAIN SOUTH

Dave these are the names on the passsenger list in findmypast who arrived at the same time. Sorry i should have said it was the passenger list.

If the marriage was in 1904 I can't see they had that many children before the marriage. There should be 2x Edwin. Father and son.

They didnt have that many kids Dave.

TOMLIN Edward 1883 ...........husband
TOMLIN Mary 1884 .........wife
TOMLIN Edwin 1906 .......kid
TOMLIN Evelyn 1909 .........kid

Siblings to Edward Tomlin as above born 1883
TOMLIN Annie 1887 ............sister
TOMLIN James Wm 1889............brother

marriage 5010/1932 COLLIER WILLIAM - TOMLIN EVELINE M - REDFERN

Death 59941/1973 COLLIER EVELYN MARY - EDWIN - MARY ANN - KOGARAH

So Edwin senior is Edward on the shipping record.

Well, I have been awake for 16 hours. :2fun:

Deniliquin seems so far away and rather odd. I tried to find a marriage /death for Annie to prove it is Charles & Mary. Not this one:
