she was b 5 July 1873 Grenfell - reg 8748/1873 to Robert Samuel Miles 1835-1909 and Mary Ann Standen 1842-1928 (off a tree) and died 10 Aug 1968 Burwood also buried Worona cemetery Sutherland.

Found a Charles W Aldam in UK on 1871 census that matches with parents Thomas & Jane in 1932..

found a Chas Adlam age 15 (= b 1864)on ship "Hankow" from London to Oz 8 Nov 1879 (Vic Assisted/Unassisted passengers Index) and on the NSW one from Melb to Sydney - he has a Philip Adlam age 19 with him. - (brother Thomas Philip!)

The North Qld Register - 12 March 1900 has a story of a Thomas Philip Adlam taken over and carrying on the business know as The "Star" Printing & Publishing Co Ltd.

Thomas Philip Adlam a Journalist married Elizabeth Ferguson 1888 Qld BMD - C2149 and 2 children in Qld

found a tree confirming his parents as Abraham Thomas and Jane Augusta Adlam nee Wills - his marriage cert to Elizabeth Ferguson.

Thomas's death - SMH Mon 21 April 1941
ADLAM - April 19 1941 at Chatswood, Thomas Philip late of Lindfield and Townsville in his 81st year. privately cremated on 19 April.

His wife Elizabeth died May 15 Chelmsford Avenue Lindfield NSW after short illness. T'ville Daily Bulletin Mon 27 May 1935.
