In regards to Elijah being registered as Johnson – wonder if Ann Cannon was with a George Johnston & had Elijah b 27 Sept 1860 Sutton Forest as she didn’t marry Hugh Murray until 1861 – then as no info on Hugh, a tree has Ann dying 1921 as Ann Proctor Parramatta– parents Isaac & Mary (17 July 1921 – husband William Proctor) Cumberland Argus has her residence as Phillips street Parramatta, & going by notice for Isaac in 1893, Ann was with William Proctor by 1893

Isaac Cannon was a convict tried London 17/1/1824 sentenced to life arrived 20/4/1825 on “Asia 111” Cond Pardon 31/12/1847 – married Mary Ann Wedlake 1835 Sydney. He had the pub Coach & Horses in Phillip Street Parramatta in 1866.
