If that age is correct then Eliza was born before her parents married.

Seems we have brothers marrying sisters.

It is not CofE St John Parramatta - I've checked that. I can't tell if it is CofE North Parramatta.

It may be RC St Patrick's Parramatta and I don't think that register is on film at Mitchell Library.

I'm getting no match at all for a Eliza/Elizabeth with mother Nichols on FMP

That's the death of a different Abraham.

Eliza's age is clearly written as 38 in 1886 and mother is Mary Nicholls.

I can't see how '38' can be misheard for 33 or 35 or whatever.

No baptism before the marriage with name as Nicholls and just mother Mary in the index,

Various records point to 1848 not 1843 and mother as Mary not Margaret so probably not that one.

Not close enough to a main line to be worth $20 for a copy of the marriage.

No, bit of a problem Ellie.

If Mary Nicholls is correct and age 38 in 1886 then nothing can be found to fit.

If age is wrong and Eliza was born after the marriage then still no reg.

If it is the baptism with Mary Little then to make that fit Mary would have to be a widow when she married James.
There is one tree that has Mary Nicolle ? as a spinster from Ireland.

Also if that is Eliza's RC baptism then she remarried CofE ??
