If 'Nichol' misheard for 'Little' then why is Eliza's age 38 ? Can't be misheard for 33 or 35 or whatever?

No Baptism for Alfred so there are some missing in the period before civil reg in 1855.

Can't answer the first part. I only looked up the one baptism on film.

Any burials before 1855 will not name parents. You usually only get age, date of burial and perhaps father's occ.

Any deaths in NSW after 1855 do not list mother's maiden name. Vic. and Qld. and SA but not NSW.
