David, John and Thomas are the only Jones of the 28th listed to have stayed in NSW so that's an incomplete list.

Nothing there rings any bells.

The library lookups are from a list complied over the two-year COVID period and I'm not to the end of the list yet.

The only ref re Regiments in Australia to the 86th with no date.

86th Royal County down Regiment. This detachment were held in Sydney for 12months awaiting transport to India.
