Death notice for Eliza as SHARP and funeral notice on same page as SHARPE.

THOPRE has to be an error but why has Vic. BMD not fixed it?

Records in England are the same 40% Sharpe and 60% Sharp.

Death as Sharpe and burial for same person Sharp.

Deaths Jun 1843 SHARPE John [59] Glanford Brigg 14 247

*** Male
Age 59
Death date 23 May 1843

Would have to be a late reg. for that to be correct. Bap. [not birth] nearly 3 weeks before start of Q3 Reg. period

I'm wondering if the baptism date is wrong.
Can't see anything else, though that period is not well covered on CD or online, apparently you have to visit the Hull History Centre.

Shame some of these enterprises don't make the indexes available... I know some now do..
