Since I was last on I have found some strange information on my x 3 grandmother a woman from cork, Ireland.
Elizabeth Cronin was living with a Jeremiah Harrington in Southwark Surrey in the early 1830s. I have birth certs for two of her 3 children with Jeremiah. Her maiden name is down as cronin, i have never found a marriage for this pair. Jeremiah dies in 1840 aged 40 and three years later Elizabeth remarries a George Plunket 1843. Now on this marriage cert she states she is a spinster and they marry in a Roman catholic chapel, she says her father is John Cronin.
By 1851 George Plunket has died and she has another daughter Sarah plunkett but she is now living in Southwark with a Michael O'conor and on census says she is his wife, again no marriage. By 1861 she is living in Marylebone with young Jeremiah Harrington jnr and Sarah plunkett and she is again using the surname Harrington.
Bless Elizabeth doesn't know who she is but I quite like her.
