Is the piece correct? Is Elizabeth's age right? Is it Duff? Is RD right?

The Name, age, RD and piece are correct, the image has a line pointing to born 'Scotland Rothsay', others b. Yorks Halifax.

Perhaps should have mentioned they are transcribed as Smith on Anc. As previous entry surname.

Was the info correct for 1891 in post #3?

Re 1911, I just typed in Elizabeth's name, birth year [1849 or 1852] and lived n Lancashire and the 1911 appeared straight away with the info that I have already given.

This is the ref, [RG14PN25429 RG78PN1454 RD477 SD3 ED27 SN118] also same on FMP, I would suggest your ref is wrong.

You probably wouldn't get the correct transcription/image for 1891 [post #1] because they are not transcribed as Duff, they are transcribed as Smith [but says Duff on the image], see posts #3 & 5. Let me know if you want a copy of the family in the image for 1891.

Ok, I should try combination of input fields without surname. I often waste too much of my two hours on one image.

When I search censuses I remove the names when I get some info re the ref, invariably the problem lies with the transcription, usually a surname.

I'l send details of the image.
