Her brother's obit states when they arrived.

Hamilton Spectator (Vic. : 1870 - 1918)
Tue 2 Mar 1909
The death of Mr. Joseph Francis Mereweather, son of the late Mr. William Mereweather, which took place at his residence, Mount View, on Friday night, removes a very old resident ot the district. Deceased, who was 51 years of age, was a native of Bristol, England, and landed at Belfast by the ship Birmingham in 1855. In the same year he, with his parents, settled in Dunkeld, where he resided till the time of his death, thus being a resident of the town for close on 50 years.
etc
The death of his mother took place sixteen months ago.
etc
Mr. Mereweather was a brother of Mrs. Gow, of Melbourne, formerly of Brie Brie.

Yes, thanks gibbo.

I'm sort of marching time until I move in about a month and then have time to visit State Library on a regular basis and try to catch up with queries written on about 100 A4 pages.

At the moment randomly picking odd bits from my tree. I'm only 10% through with the 'P' names in my tree - Peacock, Perdriau, Palmer, Penfold, ...
