Whilst I have Lipscombe and Gilkes in my tree, they are only possible cousins/2nd cousins to yours. So, not much help to you Dave.

I can't find Mary Lipscombe in the 1851 census, which is rather annoying, along with possible death.

The unfortunate thing, is that Thame Reg District, covers parts of Buckinghamshire. All I can tell you is that Mary Lipscombe was not buried in Thame.
