I'm looking for the birth of Elsa/Elsie May GUEST 1890-1905 probably in Victoria

- parents possibly Henry & Mary.

Came across 2 births one 1891 - district Richmond Victoria - parents Jno/Mary, the other 1892 - district Traralgon Victoria - Parents Edw Jas/Mary Ann.

Spouse Warren was born 1890 so dates fit.

I'm stuck. I have a marriage but no death so I'm not really sure about parents or dob. Married in 1920 in Victoria:

Probate Notice published in SMH 6 Feb 1987 for Elsie May FURNER, late of Annandale.

So it's Elsa and Elsie and May in different records. Not in Ryerson index.

This is the only NSW death that could fit up to close of index in 1982 but that seems too many years prior to the Probate notice:

202366/1980 FURNER ELSIE - HENRY - MARY

However, I can't see Elsie/Elsa/May in 1980 E/R.

Annandale is in Grayndler Division. Searching Grayndler for all years for all FURNERs does not help.

I'll have to check the 1980 Grayndler on fiche to make sure Elsie is not living with Geoffrey. I can't see her in the E/R index. Really did expect to find her in Ryerson. I'm not going to scan all of January and one week of February 1987 SMH at the library.

Hi Dave,

According to one tree it's the 1891 daughter of John & Mary (BENTLEY). Death 1987 no place or full date given.


According to another tree the 1892 one married Hezekiah Jex HOWLETT in 1910 in Victoria and died in SA in 1958 after a 2nd marriage in 1941 Victoria to Halford John LOCKWOOD.
