Elusive Marriage

HAVE FOUND OUT THAT WITTON WAS A FAMILY LODGE AT A PLACE CALL INDROOPILLY IN THE BRISBANE AREA YEARS AGO,APPARENTLY THERE WAS A WITTON CREEK ON THE PROPERTY,THE LODGE WAS LATER BOUGHT BY A MAN NAMED RAWNSLEY SOME MAN OF NOTE,AND LATER THE LODGE WAS MOVED TO A BOYS COLLAGE NEAR BY..This all i can be told.NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO TELL ME THE COLLAGE CAN ANYONE ELABORATE ON THIS FOR ME ..The marriage took place around 1926 so the lodge was there then ,boy are some things differcult to find out ..cheers LYNNE
SOME MORE I FOUND OUT"WITTON Manor", which was a homestead in the INDOOROOPILLY area here in BRISBANE in 1873.
It was on the banks of the river, and although the manor has been moved TO BOYS COLLAGE , there is still "The CUBBERLA-WITTON Catchment" in the same area.
Owned by Rawnsley family ..Later sold ..
No one seems to tell me more ..LYNNE
