Hi Duker,

Sorry but I havnt been able to find anything only Leslie on Scotlands census.

There are 6 Leslie McKennas on the social security death index for the US but none matching your Leslie.

Hi Duker,
Try the Ellis Island site for emigration to America through the New York port.If they did emigrate to America through here, the site lists original home Country, last known residence, age when entering Country and whether any relatives known in America. Also, where they are going to make for and any profession. The site is free to browse, if you register, although you will have to pay for any certificates of passengers records. It is also possible to see the ships manifest by page which lists the passengers sailing. If passengers sailed as a family group they may well be all listed on the same page. Lastly, look at other sailings by the same ship from same port several months or a year or two apart as very often one of the family went ahead first and then sent back for the rest to emigrate months later.Hope this helps, best of luck, kerrymac:) .
