Hi
I'm stuck!

Emma Woolley (Fisher born cc 1845 in Boughton, notts)
married Samuel Chestham Woolley 1871 in Belper
appears on 1871 Census with with Samuel & children:

Arthur b. 1868 (Ashton under Lyne)
Joseph b. 1870 (Cromford, Derbys)

Living in Matlock Bath

Then in the 1881 census

Samuel is a widower

there are two more children George b.1871 in Sheffield Yorks. and Charles b. 1877 in Sheffield Yorks.

living in Clarborough

Tried looking for her death/burial in both Derbyshire & Yorks but so far coming unstuck. I wondered if She might have died giving birth to Charles?
Any help would much appreciated
Thanks

Hi Julie

Thanks for that! I'll follow it up. Emma is the only one I'm having a problem wth.

I've got the rest of the family traced to Stocksbridge/Penistone with marriage certificates etc through to 1923.

thanks
