Ernest James Sealy, Gunner in WWI in Egypt and in actions against Turks. Can not find personal records (no surprise), but can not find medels records and not listed in books published in 1920's.

Was in hospital in Egypt; where are these records?

I have his "numbers" and unit. Unit records only talk about officers.

Any suggestions to how to find more information???

Soldiers in ww1 where issued with campaign medals the where the victory the british and the star so there is a chance that your relitive recieved one or maybe all three. I got my grandfather medal card from the national achives and i did it on line. My grand father served in 7th Battalion The
Gloucestershire Regiment. They served in Iraq then known as Mesopotamia. he was wounded there. I found this out by emailing Gloucestershire Regiment museum and they did a search for me. I hope this is of some help to you
