Esau married in Camden, NSW in 1859 and died in Queensland in 1899.

Don't know if he arrived assisted or unassisted or as crew.

No help here:

Queensland Times, Ipswich Herald and General Advertiser (Qld. : 1861 - 1908 ) - Saturday 15 July 1899 p.2
Country Correspondence.
MA MA CREEK.
Death has been busy in our midst of late, two old residents having died within the last fortnight. Mr. Esau Francis was ill for about three weeks, and his state becoming very critical, he was removed to the Ipswich Hospital on last Saturday week, but he gradually sank and died at 8 p.m. on the following Sunday. His body was brought up by train on Monday to the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. E. Whittle, sen., the well-known blacksmith, of Gatton, was buried in the Gatton cemetery on Tuesday. Quite a number of friends from Ma Ma Creek attended the funeral. The deceased having been a member of the Salvation Army, the members thereof officiated at the grave. He leaves a grown-up family, some of whom are married.
