Evans and Parker from Birmingham

Well-known member
I'm hitting a brick wall with some members of my Evans and Parker family; I'm looking for some inspirational thoughts. Can anyone help please?

Selina Haddon (1866-1921) married James Evans (1865-1894) my gt. grandparents. There were at least six children one of them was my grandmother. They all lived in Aston or Ashted, Nechells, Birmingham. After the death of James, Selina married Joseph Parker in 1899 Nechells, Birmingham.

I'm trying to get to grips with at least three of the Evans children.
Clara Alice b. 1883, John 1893 and Jane Lily known as Jenny born 1895.

Then there are the Parker children William b. 1898, Roseanna or
Rose Hannah b. 1900, Joseph 1902, Frederick 1904, Violet 1905 and Elsie 1908.

I've found the family in 1901 and 1911 and the difficulty is that some of the Evans children are named as Parker. It could be the enumerator or Joseph and Selina regarding all the children as Parker.

Although, my grandmother married as Evans and her brother James Thomas retained his surname. I don't know anything further of the other children from both sides.

Any help would be much appreciated.
