Evans family - Blaina

Active member
Three years ago I attempted to start on my paternal grand-mother's side of the family, but soon gave up as her maiden name was Evans. However, I have recently started the challenge again!
One part of the family is intriguing, her brother - John Evans - was born in Aberystruth in 1871. In 1902 John married Edith Ellen Chave and they had two children - Thomas and Frederick.
Within four years Edith had died.
In 1910 John remarried - to a Mary Ann Bowden (who was from Pencader, Carmarthenshire).
I believe that Fred and Tom were bought up by their aunt - Elizabeth Evans - who lived in the High Street, Blaina.
Does anyone know about Fred or Tom?
Fred was married to Ann (maiden name unknown) and there is a son living in Cwmcelyn.
Tom was married to Muriel (maiden name unknown) and was a keen chess player.
