Some rather remarkable- evidence was tendered , by Frederick Townsend (formerly , Poppenhagen— he changed his name by. deed poll in 1916) when he sought a divorce, last week from his wife, nee Caroline Louise Townsend, whom he married at Orange in 1895, he then being 27 and his wife 18. etc etc
