Family History UK Dinner - Who to invite?

Ok folks,

If you were able to invite a past relative for a dinner - who would you choose and why?

I would ask my 6X ggmother along to ask who the father of her son was!!!

My maternal grandfather whose birth registration seems to have been buried, so that he can tell me where he came from, how he met my grandmother etc. Then I would have to invite my paternal great grandparents on the Davies side because that is a brick wall and the paternal great grandfather on the Evans side because he was the one that had his son out of wedlock and not only was his name not on the birth certificate but he commenced my 'skeletons'.
Even money says there would be no answers or just 'mind your own business or you are too young to understand' .:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I would invite my maternal Grandmother, and ask her where her father Jacob Aaron Moore ended up, and where was he from 1861.

I also would invite my paternal 2x Gt.Grandmother, Elizabeth Allen, and ask why she had 7 children with no fathers registered.:biggrin:

I could actually have a banquet with all the rellies I want to ask questions of.

What a great idea

My Great Uncle John(Jack)Ferris who sadly died two weeks before the end of WW1....fighting for the Wiltshire Regiment in a far off land.

Also my nan Millicent Ferris(nee Barfoot) as a young lady who worked in service and was the eldest of twelve

And lastly my Great grandad George Sylvanus Ferris who moved away from his little village in Devon to have a grand and exiting life including being married three times.


So many more but i wont be greedy.:biggrin:

I would love to invite my 2x great grandmother,
Ematha nee Martinez,formerly Massa,Nurthen.
1. I would ask, her birth details, her parents names.
2.Who did she married in Spain c.1836, and when did he die.
3.How did she get to England by 1847 with her daughter.

I'd invite Frederick Barraclough and ask why there wasn't a Fred, junior.

I'd invite my 3x great grandfather Charles Furner and ask when and where he was born - 1795 or 1796, E Sussex or Kent. Lack of that birth/baptism stops me going back to 1666.
