FamilySearch expanded its free online archives in February 2019 with over 13 million new indexed family history records from around the world. New historical records were added from Argentina, Australia, Colombia, England, France, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States, which includes California, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Records were also added from BillionGraves, and the United States Rosters of Revolutionary War Soldiers and Sailors.

I use it a lot. If your luck is in you can get to see images of the PRs or BTs not available any where else other than Record Offices. A lot of the films are locked and can only be viewed at a Family History Centre, others haven't yet been digitally photographed (or whatever it is they do). This is usually because of rules imposed by the Counties concerned. Not all Counties agree to the info being put on line for whatever reason.

Certainly well worth exploring.

2003 I started my research on the Adamson side of my family. When I came to Parish Records I went to my nearest LDS history Center.I have copies of CMD in Selby West Yorkshire up to 1860 when Parish records ended. I have a Thomas Adamson D1849 Selby and his wife Fanny(Frances) D c1846 Selby .They stayed at Church Lane ,Selby. Now for whatever reason FS has decided they were buried at Brayton .I have it on good authority there is no record in Brayton Church for this couple .Not only has FS moved the goalpost but so has FMP and Ances .I know FMP is from FS so likely so is Ances. Also disappointed to see Parish records on ANCES are few and far between now for Selby when they used to display the lot.
