Hi,

Don't know if I am in the right place but could anybody tell me how to find out
if Blackbrook Farm on Manchester Road Heaton Norris Manchester is still standing and also the cottage next door - also if there is information or pictures of it. My ggg grandfather lived on the farm and my gg grandfather lived in the cottage on the 1881 census. I have tried a few sites but not getting anywhere - could anybody give me a few pointers in the right direction

Many thanks
Cazzand

Hi Cazzand
have you tried looking for it on an up to date ordanace survey map, the main library near you should have them, otherwise try W H Smiths could prove quite funny tying to get a sneaky look.
