Thanks gibbo.

Very curious re Emma.

I think not a marine engineer but not sure why it says engineer as he was a brass finisher.

Thanks gibbo.

I've checked the four children and I'm only missing the arrival between June 1841 and July 1842.

One of several examples in my tree of a birth in England and a baptism in NSW.

A couple of minor points, the Isaac as a witness couldn't write.

Edward and Jemima lived at Aston Road, Duddeston.

On the down side, Erdington fairly close to Duddeston.

A couple of trees have William b. 1795 as father, one has mother as Susanna Coleman.

There is this given a dau. Eleanor b. 1850..

Edward Farmer
Birth Date: 6 May 1821
Baptism Date: 28 Aug 1821
Baptism Place: Birmingham, St Martin, Warwickshire
Father: John Thomas Farmer
Mother: Eleanor Farmer

Thanks Geoff.

That's the only baptism I can find but marriage has father as William, a clerk in warehouse.

Back to this one.

NSW Burial V18576042 122A/1857 FARMER EDWARD * 29 Jun 1857

No baptism found and no parents on shipping records or on burial record. Marriage has father as William, a clerk in a warehouse.

"A couple of trees have William b. 1795 as father and one has mother as Susanna Coleman."

Jemima EVAN's parents probably Thomas & Sarah.

Jemima born in England but not in Warwickshire according to the census.

Daughter Emma not with parents in 1841.

Births Jun 1840 FARMER Emma - Birmingham 16 277 mmn EVANS * b. 15 May 1840

One researcher has told me Emma was NOT with her grandparents in 1841. I asked if it was the Farmer or Evans family that had been found in 1841 for that comment re Emma to be made and no reply.

So, it may be impossible to find the right Farmer or Evans family in 1841.
