Hello, I am new to forums but not family research. Dave posted information some years ago about my ancestor John Turnbull born 1806, the Borders Scotland. John married Janet Telfer 1812 -1838. John arrived in Aust 1840 and later married Janet/Jessie Tucker nee Miller born Perth, Scotland. John is my great grandfather & James my grandfather born 1858. Yes that is correct they both had children when in their 50's. I have Janet & Henry Tucker hand written marriage document.
