If Dorothy and Rosabel are daughters then ...

Christina Robertson's maiden name must be Watson not Jones. ??

I'm still trying to trace Dorothy and Rosabel.

Something is very odd here.

Marriage 4246/1936 WATSON HENRY KEITH - FIDLER DOROTHY WATSON - ROZELLE

Thanks Geoff.

I can't find deaths for Dorothy or Rosabel.

They must be daughters of Charles & Christina. Her maiden name Watson but married as Jones.

This is the only birth that seems to fit.

WATSON, CHRISTINA - CRIMMINS
GRO Reference: 1874 M Quarter in SAINT OLAVE SOUTHWARK Volume 01D Page 192

Robertson and Robinson in various records for her middle name.

Death 562/1987 FIDLER ROBERT GRAHAM WATSON - CHARLES WILLIAM - CHRISTINA ROBINSON

Death 16648/1941 FIDLER CHRISTINA ROBERTSON - JAMES - CATHERINE - PETERSHAM

I can't find Christina in 1881 as Watson.

Or it's the wrong birth.

There are several in 1881 born Yorkshire.

Found a tree, they have that marriage..

It has William's death as 1904, not validated.

One tree has this quote from a death notice..

"FIDLER, Charles William. -February 6, 1954, of 27 Arthur Street, Leichhardt, relict of Christina Fidler, and loved father of Margaret, Dorothy, Catherine, Robert and Thomas, aged 81 years. At rest."

Geoff

Parents do match on Christina's death reg.

WATSON
JAMES
MONTADOR
CATHERINE

Tradeston

It would have been easier if Christina had died in Qld. or Vic. We might have mmn.

Don't know why NSW rolls jump from 1913 to 1930.
