Figures of speech in genealogy.

One is "I have Scottish blood" or "I have Scottish DNA" when in reality there is no such thing as Scottish DNA or Irish DNA or blood, it is more a figure of speech. The British Isles is a mixture of people from all over Europe. Yes it is Irish ancestry and Scottish, Welsh ancestry but blood is blood.

It is a DNA that has been found more commonly in a certain country due to certain waves of immigration.
