Can anyone help me as to How I can find and order online a will of
Edwin W. Gill. He died Oct-Dec 1958 in Bridge, Kent Ref 5b 70.

This is the first time I have come across this problem in England. I have always needed to go to the Nat.Lib.in Aberystwyth.
I am still learning on this Internet lark, even though I have marched through hundreds of years on my late husband's line.

Hi Leefer
Urrrrrrgh !! I have tried 3 times to register on this site and failed each time. I saw the page with Edwin on it and that is all. It doesn't want my money.
Thank you for your help
I cannot stand websites that do not work properly especially at weekends.

Hi Leefer
Many thanks for your help. I realised after I had read your reply that I should have got his death cert first, so I sent off for it and then I think I have to apply to York for the copy of Will. I need the names on it to progress forwards as opposed to looking ancestors going back if you see what I mean !

Hi Leefer
I have received the death certificate for the relative, which was very quick for the GRO. Many thanks to them.
So I presume that I send off to York for the will

Hi Leefer
I have downloaded an application form from the National Archives site referring to the Probate and Wills section and filled it in with the details from the Death certificate and sent it off with a cheque for £5... it may take up to 21 days .
Hopefully this might help someone else. As I said before I have only seen them in National Library at Aberystwyth or on Scotlandspeople where you can download the wills and print them off

Hi Leefer
2 weeks and counting. Looks as if 21 days will be right !

While I was babysitting this morning at my daughter's house I showed Oscar the picture of Robert Reubin in his regalia. He was quite amazed that it was on the Internet, and that you had found it.
