Forence's birth ref gives mmn as Sherlock. This looks to be the family in 1881 as both sons have mmn Sherlock and the parents names, William and Catherine match the names given at Florence's death.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q27L-4T9L

It is the only Census I can find. I cannot find a marriage for William and Catherine however I have discovered that Florence was born 1 June 1883 and baptised 20 June 1883 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Liverpool, parents William Francis Roach and Catherine nee Sherlock.

Florence's baptism and the 1881 Census are the sum total of what I can find.

Thanks emeltee.

... Born some 62 years ago in Liverpool, England, the late Mrs. Leslie came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Roach- and two brothers at the age of 18 months, to Australia. Some time later her father passed away, her mother afterwards marrying Mr. Thomas Grayson, who was a property owner in the Narrabri district. ...

Thanks emeltee.

Parents as Patrick and Rose are way off.

There are other Grayson deaths in the index but given name is not Catherine.

NSW Death 6067/1902 GRAYSON THOMAS - THOMAS - - NARRABRI

NSW Death 13484/1905 GRAYSON KATHLEEN R - JOHN - JANE G - NARRABRI

Nothing found in Trove yet for any of those deaths.

??
1913
On Thursday the Rev. Waterhouse,
of Inverell, united in the holy bonds
of matrimony, Catherine Grayson, aged
68 (a widow), to Patrick Murphy, aged
71 (a widower). Both are old age pen-
sioners.

That makes it even harder to find the right death.

Thanks Val.

NSW Death GRAYSON KATHLEEN 8249/1933 JOHN - ANN - MACLEAN

If that's the right one then there is an error with father as John.

Another error somewhere.

There is no daughter Florence Roach b. 1883 on the list of children. ??

I can't find the 1872 marriage.

I can't find a birth in Qld. index for Thomas Grayson in 1861.
