I have done extensive research on the Foley's of Dudley area starting with John Foley (1448) through my 8th GGgrandfather Thomas Foley (1639) that immigrated to the US in 1664. I am specifically trying to find any relatives of said Thomas Foley. His father Richard was born in 1608 in Dudley. He was married to Margaret Brindley. They had 5 other children, Anne ( 1630), Richard (1631), Lydia (1635), Hanna ( 1637) and Phoebe (1641) . Their Half-Uncle was Thomas Foley of Witley Court. Any info is appreciated.

Very interested to read your post. Richard Foley and Alice Brindley had a son Thomas Foley who married Anne Browne. They had a son Philip Foley 1648-1716, who married Penelope Paget 1655-1684. They had Paul Foley 1684-1739, who married Elizabeth Turton 1688-1711. They had Edward Foley 1732-1788. He had another Edward 1759-1816 who married a Rebecca Cooksey 1754-1810. They had Edward Foley 1783-1852 who married Mary Jones 1784 to 1837. They had an Edward Foley 1818-1887 who married Rebecca Reeves 1819-1916. Fortunes must have considerably changed as they were a boat people who worked long on hard on the canals on a boat called the Rifleman. They had Samuel Foley and so on. Don't know if this helps at all. If you need later info, please let me know. Very interested to hear that your GGgrandfather emigrated to the US in 1664.
