Looking for the birth of Frances / Agnes WOODFORD in South Australia.

And the death of Frances/Agnes FORSTER in 1926. ?

A brother.

WOODFORD John 7 Dec 1866 Penola Dist Gre (Grey) Par (Not recorded) WOODFORD & Fanny WOODFORD Book 49 p.140

WOODFORD is Fanny's (Frances) maiden name. She later married George HAMMOND.

Mrs Forster

Narmcoorto, March

Mrs Frances Agnes Forster, wlfe of Mr. A. E Forster, died rather suddenly
early on Wednesday morning. She took ill on the previous day while attending to her household duties. She was the daughter of Mrs. Hammond and the late Mr. G. Hammond, and was born in Penola 56 years ago, and lived with her parents at Penola, Struan, and Narracoorle up till the time of her marriage 28 years ago, She was of a quiet and kindly disposition. She leaves besides her husband a family of one daughter and four sons, moat of whom arc grown up,

So the tree was right with 1926 but I can't find the birth or the death reg.

Yes, her mother died in 1941 in Victoria.
 
Shame we cant search SA with just a first name on the off chance her birth cant be found from a error with the spelling of her surname :rolleyes:
 
I searched at the State Library today and did not find the birth as Woodford or Hammond.

Deaths at the library end at 1915 for some reason.
 
I think it was just a late marriage and the father was probably George Hammond.

I'm not sure about the father of John though.

Sister Mary Ann is the connection to Hamilton in my tree.
 
I'll call Hammond/Woodford case closed for this time round.

Progress was made so that's good.
