Another look at this one. The tree is of no help.

Deaths

The first three are RC baptisms so they fit and if the 1872 death is correct and then the 1874 and 1875 births don't fit that couple. The question is how many of the births fit the RC couple and how many fit the couple (marriage not found) who died in Hurstville?

This one can be ruled out:

Thanks gibbo. :)

That's a bit odd - John 1851 9 months and a baptism in 1853 ??? I'm wondering if that is Jan 1854. I can look up those three baptisms on Monday.

So that fits for the children up to Francis William 1865.

It also fits for the death of Thomas Senior in 1872.

I think Thomas and Catherine were both from Ireland and both RC.

Can we prove Isabella A born 1867 is RC or Presbyterian?

I had this note that didn't ring any bells for months.

'Katie' Davidson living at Maud St, Granville. ?
Catherine's maiden name was DAVIDSON.

And, yes, it's a totally different family with children starting with Isabella A.

Marriage #1967/1866 HALL THOMAS - DAVIDSON CATHERINE - GOULBURN

------
8856/1865 HALL FRANCIS W THOMAS CATHERINE GOULBURN
9180/1867 HALL ISABELLA A THOMAS CATHERINE GOULBURN

You look at the index and don't realise those two are children of different families. The first RC from Ireland and the other CofE/Presbyterian.

Yes thanks.

The RC burials helped to confirm that some of those children listed had to belong to a different family - born after Thomas died.
