Hello Julie,

Thank you very much. That looks like the family. Occupation is a bit odd in that he is listed later as a joiner.

1919 & 1925 QLD Electoral Roll - Lilley - Toombul
MARSDEN Frank Ewart, Danum, New Sandgate rd., Albion, joiner
MARSDEN Elsie Florence, Danum, New Sandgate rd., Albion, home duties
Death # 1928/B03651 Marsden Frank Ewart Joseph Marsden Kate Chatterton

Regards,

Dave

Hello Julie,

Oh, his father also went to Australia. Here is his death:

1910/B11970 Marsden Joseph Henry Marsden Fanny Field

Now that is curious. Henry and not William listed. ???

His mother Kate must have died between 1891 and 1901. It would be this one:

Deaths Mar 1900
Marsden Kate 41 Doncaster 9c 586

Regards,

Dave

Hello Julie,

This is possibly the marriage:

Marriages Dec 1867
BEVERIDGE Fanny Halifax 9a 730
MARSDEN William Halifax 9a 730

No sign of a Henry MARSDEN marriage to a Fanny. So that must be an error on the death reg.
Oh, that is not Fanny FIELD. ???

I can't see any MARSDEN marriage in England to a Fanny/Frances FIELD.

EDIT: Another possibility. That is not the death of Joseph and he actually died in England.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Julie,

Yes, thanks.

That's the only one that is in Doncaster so it's a possibility.

I have yet to sort out the Henry MARSDEN & Fanny FIELD one.

Regards,

Dave
