We had another 'Fred' we chased for years in E/R and newspaper reports only to find he never was born. We didn't have a Fred senior and a Fred junior in E/R after all. We just had the one Fred.

We have no problem with 1923 and 1930 reg and burials.

We have a burial in Qld. on 17 June 1889 for a Fred AHLES.

I can't find age at death or a death reg.

It's not this one who used a different name in the E/R:

Most curious. It's grave 169.

Fred and Jane are together in 168. So it must be a son. They must have registered some plots but 169 got used before 168.

I can see nothing in TROVE.

I can see no Inquest file or hospital admission.

Nothing in the Trustee files.

The only Fred/Friedrich they had appears to be b. 1860, d. 1948

I searched for a death in 1889 using just a* and no hit that fitted.

Grave 168 has a headstone with transcription for Frederick and Jane. Seems there is no transcription for 169.

Another curious thing. A second site that has photos of the headstones does not mention the AHLES.

Im not going any where near Dave's Fred's. His Fred's are spooky, they seem to appear out of no where and then disappear totally
