Then the 1890 death is correct. Jane was born in Tasmania.

You would normally expect Lavender Bay to be in North Sydney Registration District but if the death was in the large public hospital then that's RD St Leonards.

That fits, the tree has father, John b. 1791 and mother Sarah...

I still can't work out the Anderson bit unless it's an error in the reg the middle name has been taken as the surname.

Also wondering about a convict connection.

I couldn't see an Anderson connection...

I did also wonder about the convict connection... I did hint at it with Edward Stephens in an earlier post. There is also an Edmund (Convict) b. at a similar time, there are some similarities, but can't get back to same parents :rolleyes:
