Thanks Geoff.

No immediate help to me with this one.

I have several Johnson families but can't find where this fits.

Move on again.

This won't solve the Johnson issue, did find....

Eileen Gladys Johnson (formerly Binn) v Frederick Johnson Marriage March 1918 Registrar General s office Sydney Issue desertion Petitioner admitted
that for three years past she had lived with Samuel Huntington as his wife
and Huntington gave evidence that he was prepared to marry petitioner
if she obtained a divorce After consulting authorities his Honor exercised
his discretion to favour of the petitioner notwithstanding her admission and granted a decree nisi Mr R C Kirby for petitioner.

The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954) Tuesday 30 April 1918
BINN - killed in action, France, April 15, 1918, Private H. H. Binn the only son of Mrs W. Binn and only brother of Mrs Eillen Johnson.

Eileen Gladys Binn parents Charles & Winifred.

electoral rolls Eileen under Huntington. Too many Frederick Johnson to narrow down.

Perhaps the connection is daughter Winifred.

Middle name Edith or Elsie or Evelyn or Eliza or Eileen?

I've looked for possible marriages for Winifred but none stand out as any help.

Thanks Rupert.

A bit more to add to the puzzle. I don't know about any marriage. Nothing yet is ringing any bells.
