Hi Im hoping to get help with this fellow Frederick Leonard b1835. He married Sarah Storey in 1866 Shouldham Norfolk. No father is mentioned is for Frederick and i cant find a birth in shouldham for a Frederick Leonard either.

What i have found is he was in the 54th Regiment (Stated on marriage cert) and 102 regiment based in ireland as his son James Frederick was born in belfast.

His regiment number is possibly 3566.

Did Frederick remarry to Grace Elizabeth Baines in 1882 Derby. As there is a Frederick Leonard born abt 1836 Shouldham living in Derby. There is man with same name and year of birth born Scotland, pops up on the censuses.

The Frederick born Scotland is a Sergeant Hougham Kent in1871, classed as married.

In 1881 there’s a Frederick Leonard born Scotland abt 1836 Scotland - widower. He is an asst. warden at Pentonville prison. Not found this chap after 1881.

Looking at the marriage Transcription in 1882 to Grace, he gives his age 42, fathers name Edward Leonard.
