Looking for information of Fredrick Elliott born Dittisham 1844 and believe died Camerons Corner South Australia Feb 1889. Have found him in the 1851 UK Census visiting grandparents Samuel Elliott and his wife Peggy.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Rupert,
By my records Frederick's grandparents are Samuel & Peggy Elliott.
The 1851 English Census has Frederick age 6 and Elizabeth age 6 as grandchildren of Samuel and Peggy

I agree with you about a getting things wrong, I have done it quite a few times. We all do but I am having a discussion with a person about someone on my tree and she is disputing what I have written even though I have a Birth Death & Marriage Certificate to back me up but because some one else has some thing different on their tree they must be correct.
Sorry gone of the path.
So with Fredrick I will have to keep looking

I am having trouble finding him on the census but not finding a death either.

Yes, but you are doing it the right way, just that too many people believe the trees have to be gospel as 10 people have copied the first one:)

Hi Jen

Checking the BMD, this appears to be the only birth reg around that time [1845 +/- 3y] that would fit..
