A few tips to help you work out if any of your kin are on there.
I would first look on http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/ try and find the year and place any marriages took place. Then go to http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl to get the 1/4 they married in. Then you can check to see if any of the marriage parish churches match the one you have of the Lanc's BMD site. Not all marriagesare on Lanc's BMD site but it gives you a starting point. As far as i can tell ( as i have not found a burial related to mine as of yet) the burials seem only to be for burials in there churches? For the baptisms you can only use "Free BMD " or if you have found there death on one of the paid site and it gives you there date of birth, you can use that.
Make the most of this as i here they will be charging for it very soon.
Be lucky

Hi ben
If you could find me any information on The Pack Horse Inn
in stretford my moss ancestors built it in 1714 and were
still there in the late 1700s any references to it would be
most helpful
thanks
