I have discovered during my research that i have Australian, English, German, French and Irish in me. In my family there are bigimists, army deserters, adoptions and convicts just to name a few. So who am i? I have come to the conclusion i am a fruit cake, a bit of everything mixed in and raised well.:2fun:

Lardy Cake is nice but the top cake must be a West Indian fruit cake. It has so much fruit you can hardly see anything else and is so soaked in rum you certainly couldn't drive home after eating it. Then there is the Scottish Black Bun and the Yorkshire fruit cake eaten with cheese. Reckon every country and every county have fruit cake. We are all a mix I reckon.
