A few marriages Geoff but with Eliza 23 in 1871 I don't think it's this one

Marriages Jun Qtr 1862
Fuller William Robert Kensington 1a 112
WEAVING Eliza J Kensington 1a 112

Can an image be found for both those marriages?

Thanks,

Dave

Something to ponder..

London C of E marriages:
William Robert Fuller
Spouse: Mary Ann Wodise
20 Jan 1857
Parish: St Jude, Chelsea
Father = William Fuller
Spouse Father = William Wodise
[William R = bachelor/labourer. Father = Coachman/deceased. Res = 7 George St]

A few variations on Mary Ann's surname..
BMD:

William says he is a widower in 1881..

There are a few possibles for a death for Eliza, but only one in Chelsea, 1878 aged 36, that age is a bit out using the 1871 as a guide

Geoff
Thanks Geoff.

I've just returned from the library where I used my allowed 90 minutes looking at census images. So many different transcription errors on A... just on the few images I managed to find.

Down as Married in 1881 but you can see the dot for the i and the d and the r so Widr.

Looking at Eliza's age in 1871 it is probably a 3 so 23 not 25 looking at the 5 above and below. It's not 28.

OK, Dave...

If you can get the OK from Steve, re posting sections/partial images for some queries [i.e. as yours above], it would save some time & possible costs for certain issues. Currently I am reluctant to do this vis-a-vis recent copyright issues, and, rightly so for the good of the forum. But there must be an acceptable medium that we can adhere to for the good of the member.
