Garnier, Digues La Touche

I'm not a great family history buff - I leave that to my brother who seems to get a fair bit of fun from it.

However the reason for my coming on this site is that I have in my possession 'something' which originates from the Garnier/ Digues La Touche family and I would like to contact them. It is dated 1915 and has a reference to Shropshire on it. I bought it off ebay because I couldn't bear the thought of it going to someone who wouldn't care about it!

I've posted on the wanted names part of the site but if anyone has any information for me it would be gratefully received.

Hi,

There are some people on Genes reunited looking for Digues la Touche but no area given, also
looks like the Shropshire area maybe Church Stretton and Ludlow as there are a couple of marriages betwenn Garnier and Digues la Touche in Church Stretton.

I am linked to the Garnier and Touche (Touschard) lines. I also have links to the Biddulph's of Shropshire and various other Shropshire lines which are of Angl-Norman provenance.

It sounds like you obtained something of interest (a book)?...I wondered if you could you contact me at ******************** if you don't wish to specify it on the forum.
I don't know what info you are seeking.
My own interest is in finding descendants (males) of these lines who can do YDNA self testing (i.e, a YDNA-37)
