I think they are all part of the fun. It may be annoying when someone on the 1841 census dies before the 1851 census but that is probably part of the fun of trying to trace them and it makes a more reward if you do track their origin down.

My 5xgreat grandfather was Matthew Bradford of Southchurch, Essex. He married Susannah Watty there in 1798 and died in 1849 and on the 1841 census he said he was not born in the county. I have found a baptism in 1765 in Westley Waterless, Cambridgeshire and believe it could be him.

And my 4xgreat grandmother Sarah Bradford, previously married name of Coombs, maiden name unknown died just before the 1851 census but if I do finally track her down I shall be ecstatic. I believe she may have been from down South West in the West Country.
