General Introduction

Greetings to all
Very new at this - not genealogy but forums, so please bear with me.
I have been researching family for the past three years, but have become stuck on a couple of things which may be resolved by the online community

First the Upton family, from Notts and Gloucester and then the Hardy family (Mother's side) from London Southwark.
